I am still working on getting my first infrared shot using a Canon 7D. So I am not an expert in any way. I'm not even a notice at this point.
This filter is not as good as the 720nm filter (Hoya RM-72) for the Canon 7D. The best image I made using the B&W 092 was not IR. It was muted colors with bright sky and dark grass. Using the same technique with the Hoya RM-72, I got a better test shot. After the color swap, the grass and trees came out yellow, and the sky was a dark gray (almost blue) using the Hoya. All colors were still muted, but the results were better than the B&W 092.
I think B&W 092 is between 650nm and 692nm. Hoya RM-72 is between 680nm and 720nm. It's possible that a better result for the Canon 7D could be found above 720nm.
